Held in the Reefton Community Theatre on Wednesday the 29^th and Thursday the 30^th of June, the 2022 forum had about 140 attendees.

The lineup of speakers included exploration companies working in the Reefton Gold Field, hard rock and alluvial gold miners, coal producers, heavy mineral sand companies, environmental technicians and rehabilitation experts, and central government agencies.
