Minerals West Coast is a charitable trust, formed in 2005, and based in Hokitika New Zealand.
Our mission is to promote, encourage, and support the people who work in the extractive industries on the West Coast.
As the collective voice of mining on the West Coast, our objective is for mining to thrive. This will allow the sector to contribute to thriving economies and environments throughout the region.
Our trust works to increase cooperation within the industry, advocate for our members and our industry with regional and national policy makers, and educate and inform the wider public on the role West Coast mining plays supporting the region’s economy and natural environment.
